By using calculates.pro you agree to these Terms. They are written to be readable, but the short version is: our calculators are handy tools, not professional advice.

Important: The calculators on this site are for informational and educational purposes only. They are not legal, tax, financial, payroll, or professional advice. Always verify results with a qualified professional (CPA, attorney, licensed contractor, HR specialist) before making decisions that rely on them.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using calculates.pro (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. What the Site is

calculates.pro offers free, browser-based calculators for payroll, timesheets, taxes on bonuses, home-improvement estimates, and similar tasks. Calculators run in your browser — inputs are not stored on our servers unless you explicitly submit them through a form (such as Contact).

3. Not professional advice

The calculators and content are provided for general informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional advice from:

  • a licensed tax professional, CPA, or enrolled agent;
  • a licensed attorney;
  • a certified payroll specialist or HR professional;
  • a licensed contractor, electrician, or other trade professional.

Laws, tax rates, wage-and-hour rules, and construction costs vary by state, locality, and time. Consult a qualified professional for your specific situation before acting on any result from this Site.

4. No warranty — results provided “as is”

The Site and all calculators, content, and features are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy.

We make no guarantee that calculators are accurate, complete, current, or error-free. Rates, rules, and reference data may change without notice.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, calculates.pro and its owners, operators, contributors, and affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from or related to:

  • your use of, or inability to use, the Site or any calculator;
  • decisions or actions taken based on calculator results;
  • underpayment, overpayment, missed tax obligations, or penalties;
  • cost overruns or project mistakes based on an estimate;
  • any errors or omissions in content, reference tables, or examples.

If some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for certain damages, the above limits apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law;
  • attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site, or breach its security or authentication measures;
  • automate requests in a way that degrades performance for other users (scraping is permitted only within reason and in compliance with robots.txt);
  • interfere with the Site or reverse-engineer proprietary code beyond what is allowed by law.

7. Intellectual property

The Site, including its text, reference tables, design, logos, and calculator code, is protected by copyright and other laws. You may:

  • use the calculators personally and professionally, for free;
  • link to any calculator page with appropriate context (linking is encouraged);
  • quote short excerpts with attribution.

You may not republish substantial portions of the site content, clone the calculators onto another domain, or frame the Site in a way that implies affiliation without permission.

8. Third-party services, links, and ads

The Site uses third-party services (e.g., Google Analytics and, when enabled, Google AdSense) and may link to third-party sites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, practices, or availability. Advertisements shown through third-party networks are served independently of the calculators and do not constitute an endorsement.

9. User submissions

Messages you send through Contact are used to help us respond and improve the Site. We may reference anonymized feedback (e.g., “readers asked for X”), but we will not publish your name or email without permission.

10. Changes to the Site and Terms

We may update, change, add, or remove calculators and features at any time. We may also update these Terms; material changes will be indicated by updating the “Effective” date above. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance.
